CALL TO ORDER: Mr. Crawford called the meeting to order at 10:57 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.

ROLL CALL was answered as follows: Present- Bill McFadden, Ed Olds, Don Crawford. Present: 3. Absent: John Major, Ron Smith; absent: 2. Staff present: Diane Komiskey, Mara Roche and Dawn Hall. Guests present: Ole Bly Pace (Riverport Railroad), Tom Kamper (RRX).

III: APPROVAL OF COMMITTEE MINUTES

A motion to approve the Economic Development Committee regular session and closed session meeting minutes from January 19, 2010 was made by Ed Olds, seconded by Bill McFadden. The motion carried by voice vote.

IV:Old Business – Museum’s request for special use permit

A motion to recommend to the full board to approve a special use permit requested by the Savanna Army Depot & Military Museum to hold events on May 15-16, July 18 and August 28-29, 2010 was made by Ed Olds, Bill McFadden seconded. The motion carried by voice vote.

V: NEW BUSINESS – none

VI: OTHER BUSINESS – Mr. Pace (RRX) updated the committee on the rail

car mall project.

VII: PUBLIC COMMENT – None.

IX: ADJOURNMENT

A motion to adjourn was made by Bill McFadden, seconded by Ed Olds at 11:07 a.m. The motion carried by voice vote.
